A Million Paws & A Few Kind Thoughts

Here's to a fantastic day ahead tomorrow with the RSPCA Million Paws Walk taking place across the Nation. I have been spending my nights awake preparing all my RozArt goods for the day and I am truly looking forward to the specticle of so many dogs in one place at one time, all of which are extremely excited and what fun is to be had! :-)

The one down side to it all is the fact that tomorrow is going to be frosty!!! So several layers of clothes will be required and a thermas of warm beverage is waiting to be made :-)

There is one thing that is going to be on my mind even more throughout the day and that is my little Cheely Boy. Unfortunately he had a large seizure which involved a trip to hospital via an Ambulance (thanks to the wonderful Ambos once again :-) on Mothers Day. We did make it home for tea which was nice. The problem since has been the increase of drop seizures so we are going to spend a week in Sydney with a team of Peadiatric Neurologists trying to find the best solution for my precious little boys increasing seizure activity. It is going to be a long week and quite difficult for him and of course me at times... but it needs to be done. There is nothing more heart breaking to a Mother than to watch her child suffer and know there is nothing she can do about it. I can offer comfort but I can not take away his pain or his afflictions.

There is alway comfort in a pet which is wonderful. I ask the powers above to treat my boy kindly as he doesn't deserve to go through this. I can only hope that my words will be answered in kind.

Well I best be off, much to do and only one of me :-) I hope you all have a good week and perhaps if you can spare a word to the powers above, please ask them for a little extra strength for the Cheeky Boy ...THANKS :-)
