Happy are those...

I must start with saying sorry to those who may have been waiting for my post yesterday. I have been busy with a Cheeky Boy who now has a cold and feeling a little under the weather...we all know what that's like. At least it has not involved any large seizures (as yet). When he gets sick he is unpredictable as to when a large seizure may occur...when you think he will be fine, a hospital trip by ambulance occurs...then other times when you think, "it's only a matter of time" he doesn't have one at all. It makes my job just that little bit harder...keeps me on my toes :-)

Life isn't about things being predictable, life would be a tad boring if it was!

Here's a picture I was sent during the week that I believe sums up how I like to look at life

So a little overview of the week that has been... being a stay at home mum, I sometimes forget that people can be arrogant, rude and self centred. I experienced this with a twitter person who thought my message of trying to raise money for the Friends of Brain Injured Children at the Royal Canberra Show was SPAM to him and he also responded to my thoughts by calling me a in inappropriate word by coding it...coward also can be added to his description. I was a tad worked up by his rudeness but as the week has progressed I have just reminded myself that the world is made up of all sorts of people and some are not worth wasting my energy on and ultimately it is their issue and not mine.

On a good note, my twitter message has been well received by others and they have been so kind as to retweet it to their followers. These are the people who restore my faith in the positive and supportive nature of the human race.

So for those of you who would like a look at my work bench at the moment as I prepare for the Royal Canberra Show which starts this coming Friday (22 Feb) here's a picture for you...
