Fun at the Show

As I have been pulling all nighters for the last week to get a new range of RozArt tags designed for the Royal Canberra Show, I have to apologise for being a day late with my post once again. I was truly too exhausted to keep my eyes open to do my blog.

Anyhow we are now into day two of the Canberra Show and the weather gods are playing tricks on us! Cold and a fine rain on and off, just to give us all a bit of a chill. Then as soon as the sun comes out...you have to strip layers as it gets quite warm. Then there has been the gusts of wind... here's a photo of my stall with my lovely assistant doing a Mary Poppins impression trying to to hold the umbrella stable until the marquee was set up!

So far we have met some lovely people and some orders have been made. An excited teenager won the first Dog Tag of her choice yesterday... so nice to see it go to such a deserving girl.

Today is suppose to be the busiest day of the show so lets hope the weather brings out some nice sunshine and a little warmth...so far its been a little cool and rainy...

The Cheeky Boy came to the show for a while yesterday with his sister and they both had a great time. This has been the first time the Cheeky Boy has been to such a big event and he coped with it well, besides being a little tired. He was even brave enough to touch a bull which was great to see.
He is learning to touch more things as he is a bit sensitive with feeling things so the fact he touched the bull for a brief moment was great! Perhaps when he comes today he will pat it for longer... the wonderful farmers exhibiting at the show are going to bring a calf out today for him to see.

So here's to a fun day and the hope that you all have a fun week :-)

  1. Hi Ros! So great to hear that things went well. The weather was a little off putting on the weekend. Hope Sunday didn't wash you away completely.
